Passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday, May 11th, 2015 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Matthew Oomen (1971) and Hendrick Kayser (1984). Loving mother of Martin (Liz), Josie (Dave), Susie (Derek), Matthew (Nancy), Martha (Doug), Benny (Carol), Joey (Tara), Ronny (Joanne), Hilda (Eric), Janey (Bobby) and Richie (Shelley).
Dear sister of Andre Kusters (Katherine), Gus Kusters (Marie), George Kusters, Theo Kusters (Joanne), Gusta Oomen, Katy Theewes, Lucy Kusters and family in the Netherlands.
She will be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son-in-law David Mitchell and her sister-in-law Antonia Kusters, brother-in-laws Frank Theewes, Gerry Oomen and Ralph Peter.
Visitation at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME - Central Chapel, 49 Colborne Street (Clergy St.) on Thursday, May 14th from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Kingston Mills, on Friday, May 15th at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the South Eastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
