<div itemprop="description"><br /> <br />DONNELLY, B Vincent. <br /> <br />Peacefully at Providence Manor on February 14, 2016 in his 96th year. <br /> <br />Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret. Loved Father of James Donnelly (Rachel), Ann Donnelly and Elaine (Malcolm Meltz) <br /> <br />Cherished grandfather of Laura, Erin, Matthew, David, Sheila, Leah and Keith, and great grandson Samuel. Survived by his sister Rita. Predeceased by Hugh, Mary, Lenore and Doreen. <br /> <br />Vince was born on August 27, 1919 in Herbert, Saskatchewan. He grew up in Westport, Ontario. He joined the RCAF and served as a Flight Sergeant during WWII. He received his Engineering degree from the University of Toronto in 1949, and shortly afterwards married Margaret (Black) in 1950. During his career he worked in quite a few areas of Engineering, including the petrochemical industry and as the shift supervisor for a nuclear reactor. <br /> <br /> Friends will be received at the Central Chapel the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy) on Friday March 4, between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Liturgy of the Word Service in our Chapel on Saturday March 5, at 10:30 a.m. Followed by Cremation. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations for those who wish to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. <br /> <br />Mom and dad loved to dance and now they will be dancing once more together in heaven. <br /> <br /></div>
