<div itemprop="description">SHANAS, DOROTHY LILLY (TEVAN)<br /><br />Peacefully at Providence Manor, with David at her side, on Monday, August 17, 2015 at the age of 90 years.&nbsp; Predeceased by her loving husband Messalah (Saul) in 1978.&nbsp; Loved mother of David Shanas.&nbsp; Survived by sister-in-law Ellie Tevan, nephew Jay and niece Stacey.&nbsp; Predeceased by her brother Theodore (Ted).<br /><br />Funeral Service at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy St) on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.&nbsp; Interment will follow in Beth Israel Cemetery.&nbsp; For those wishing, donations to the Kingston Alzheimer&rsquo;s Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.&nbsp; Shiva will be observed at 107 Fairway Hills Crescent on Wednesday August 19 from 1 until 4 p.m. and from 7 until 9 p.m., Thursday, August 20 from 1 until 4 p.m. and from 7 until 9 p.m. and finally on Friday, August 21 from 1 until 4 p.m.&nbsp;&nbsp; <br /><br />On line condolences with Sharing Memories at www.gftompkinscentral.ca<br /></div>
