JOHNSTON, HAZEL
Peacefullly with her family by her side, at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital, on Sunday, July 13, 2014 in her 92 nd year. Wife of the late Elwood Johnston (1987). Loving mother of Derwyn Johnston, Leah (Pat) Bradlley, Ruth ( Jerry) Lollar, Ken (Debbie) Johnston, Kim (Philip Proudfoot) Johnston and predeceased by children Dwight (1963), Lynn (1967), Leslie Hogan (2002), Kevin (2007) and grandson Robbie Lollar (2005). Fondly remembered by son-in-law Paul Hogan and daughter-in-law Margie Johnston. Dearly missed and loved by her 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Lawrence (Nelda) Ryan of Fournier, ON and predeceased by siblings: Una Elliott, Georgia Clemens, Phyllis Barton, Patricia Bradley, Garrett Ryan and Will Ryan. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 49 Collborne Street (at Clergy St.) on Thursday, July 17, from 11:30 until 1 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Cataraqui Cemetery, For those wishing, donations Kingston Humane Society or UHKF-St. Mary's of the Lake Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by her family.
