Passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, August 31st 2015 at the age of 52. Cherished mother of Eric Keates (Christine Leonard) and Kelly Keates. Loved daughter of Gord and Jeannette Paterson. Dear sister of Michael Paterson (Lesa Johnston) and Cathy Dain. Much loved aunt of her nephews Michael and Aaron Dain and her niece Brandee Paterson. Predeceased by her infant nephew Tyler Paterson. She will be lovingly remembered by her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
The family wish to express their special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the KGH Cancer Centre as well as the staff of St. Elizabeth’s Health Care.
Visitation at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME - Central Chapel, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy St) on Thursday, September 3rd from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held in the Chapel on Friday, September 4th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kingston Humane Society or to the UHKF Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
