<div itemprop="description">GREENWOOD, Joe<br /><br />We announce with sadness the peaceful death of Joe on December 5, 2015 at the age of 63. He will be missed by his family Donna, Mac &amp; Maggie, Jessica &amp; Jeffrey, grandsons Sawyer, Kellen and Samuel, sisters Jane &amp; Len and Judy &amp; Bill and brother David &amp; Dawn. Joe was predeceased by his parents Carmel (nee Keon) and DJ. He is fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews and many friends. The family would like to thank those who stopped in to see him over these past few months, he truly enjoyed the company and compassion. We know he is somewhere the music never has to stop. <br /><br />The family would also like to thank the staff of Kingston General Hospital, Lennox-Addington County General Hospital and Fairfield Manor West who provided him excellent care as his illness progressed. <br /><br />We will gather to remember him. Family and friends will be received at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME - Central Chapel 49 Colborne St., (Clergy at Colborne) on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. &amp; on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Mary, Wolfe Island, on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Rite of committal prayers will follow in the parish cemetery. <br /><br />For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
