Cassidy, Kathleen (née Wood)
Passed away peacefully with her children by her side at Trillium Centre on Friday, February 5th, 2016 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late John P. Cassidy (2009). Loving mother of Bill Cassidy and Patricia Cassidy-Hortop (David), predeceased by her son Patrick John "Jackie" Cassidy (1959). Dear grandmother of Melissa Cassidy, Rema Jane Sinclair (Matthew). Stephen Tavares, Niall Cavanagh and predeceased by her grand-daughter Molly Cavanagh (1994). She is survived by her sisters Geraldine Turcotte (the late Les), Barbara Watson (the late Bruce) and her brother David Wood and sister-in-law Maureen. Predeceased by her parents Edwin and Florence Wood (née Golding), as well as by her sister Marjorie Pitt (Ted) and her brothers Edward and Philip Wood.
Cremation has taken place. A service and interment of ashes will be held in the spring. Arrangements in care of the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME-Central Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Kingston Humane Society would be appreciated.
