<div itemprop="description">Allport, Stella Frances<br>Retired employee of DuPont Canada<br><br>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. On Monday, June 13th Stella Allport (nee Schonauer) entered into eternal rest, at the age of 90. She is predeceased by her husband, Clarence, of 49 years. Cherished and loving mother to Sharon Thomas (Al), Wendy Allport (Dave) and Dean Allport. She leaves behind six grandchildren, Sterling and Ashley (Earnest) Thomas, Morgan and Travis Wallace and Kylie and Amber Allport, as well as two great-grandchildren Austin and Arlie Mooney. She is survived by her sister Helen Thompson of Napanee and predeceased by her parents Matilda Hartman and John Schonauer and her siblings Greta Quinn, infant sister Vera Schonauer, Freda Storring, John Schonauer, Bernard Schonauer, Genevieve Thompson, Gladys Lyons and Charlie Schonauer. Stella has been under the compassionate care of Rideaucrest Nursing Home and we send a special thank you to the staff for taking such good care of her over the last six months.<br><br>Friends and family will be received at the Central Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy Street) on Thursday evening from 6 - 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Apostle Church, 88 Patrick Street on Friday, June 17th at 1 PM Rite of Committal St. Mary's Cemetery.
